Meet Jumoke Tillman‑Howell

Founder of Scorpion Hair Extensions, Jumoke Tillman‑Howell is a beauty professional, entrepreneur, and advocate for confidence, wellness, and authentic representation. She created Scorpion Hair Extensions to deliver premium, ethically sourced hair solutions that celebrate the natural beauty of Black women and children.

Her Journey

Born and raised in Chicago, Jumoke earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Central State University (HBCU). Her studies revealed the deep connection between physical health, mental wellness, and self-confidence, insights that continue to shape every product and service at Scorpion Hair Extensions.

Jumoke is currently enrolled in cosmetology school, expecting to be licensed in July 2026, further enhancing her ability to provide professional, high-quality hair extension services and protective styling.

Inspiration Behind Scorpion Hair Extensions

Jumoke’s passion for beauty and wellness is deeply personal. Her grandmother Louise’s cancer journey and her older sister’s struggles with self-esteem revealed how hair, identity, and mental health are intertwined. These experiences inspired her to create hair extensions that restore confidence, empower wellness, and embrace natural beauty.
